First Annual Paw-Paw-Pawlooza Dog Walk--Newport News

If you feel like a little road trip next week, the Mariners’ Museum in Newport News is gearing up for its first-ever dog-walk, the Paw-Paw-Pawlooza in The Mariners’ Museum Park. The walk is planned for Saturday, June 26 at 9 A.M. The setting is a natural for the event, given the hundreds of pet owners who frequent the 550-acre park and its 5-mile Noland Trail. Paw-Paw-Pawlooza will feature a 2-mile walk, pet vendors, giveaways, games and contests. Funds raised will help support future park operations.

Cost: $10 for friends of the park, $15 non-friends

Hope to see you there! Early in the morning it shouldn't be too hot for a walk and it's always neat to see a big group of greyhounds on a walk!
